I’m Lolly, real name Louise, and I also go by Lou.
I’m small (literally) and I have a way of making myself at home wherever I go. Whether it’s squeezing into the corner of your living room or crouching by the kitchen table, I’ll be there, quietly noticing the things you might not.
The scrunched-up toes, the half-laughed conversations, the love that lives in the ordinary. I see beauty in the bits that often go unnoticed, and I’m here to gently capture it all, just as it is.
I’m one of three girls, right in the middle, and we lost our mum when I was younger. That experience changed the way I see time and memory. She taught me, without even realising it, how important it is to savour the small, ordinary moments, the cuddles, the laughter, the mess, the quiet. Those are the memories that stay with you. That’s why I do this: to help families hold on to the moments that often pass unnoticed, but mean everything later.
I’ve always been the one reaching for a camera when I’m with friends or family, to bottle up the feeling of being there. The way someone throws their head back laughing, the mess after a meal, the quiet moments between the big ones. I’m drawn to the kind of photos that feel like memories, not curated or posed, just honest and full of life. For me, photography isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence. It’s my way of saying, this mattered.
